A textured mosaic of an Owl. This mosaic was inspired by the Owls in my garden that hoot every evening at twilight. The Mosaic is made of hand cut rock and smalti. The back ground is self levelling cement and hand cut lakeland slate frame.
The mosaic has an integral d ring hook to hang from a regular picture hook but requires a solid wall or you might like to purchase an additional table top easel to display on a mantlepiece or table .
The mosaic is hand made, one of a kind, made by the artist. The mosaic frame is not a perfect square or rectangle, its deliberately uneven as I want the mosaics to resemble the unique ,varied, slate stone walls of the Lake District.
