A textured mosaic of a Goldfinch . This mosaic was inspired by the beautiful, colourful, little garden bird , the Goldfinch .
The Mosaic is made of hand cut, foraged rock, stone, glass and shells. The back ground is hand tinted self levelling cement. The mosaic has an integral d ring hook to hang from a regular picture hook but requires a solid wall or you might like to purchase an additional table top easel to display on a mantelpiece or table.
The mosaic is hand made, one of a kind, made by the artist. The mosaic frame is not a perfect square or rectangle, its deliberately uneven as I want the mosaics to resemble the unique ,varied, slate , stone walls of the Lake District.
