A textured mosaic of a Red Squirrel. This mosaic was inspired by the red squirrels that live in Grasmere. The Mosaic is made of hand cut, foraged rock and shells. The back ground is hand cut lakeland slate.
The mosaic has an integral d ring hook to hang from a regular picture hook but requires a solid wall or you might like to purchase an additional table top easel to display on a mantlepiece or table .The mosaic is hand made, one of a kind, made by the artist. The mosaic is not a perfect square or rectangle, its deliberately uneven as I want the mosaics to resemble the unique ,varied, slate walls of the Lake District.
